Annual Specialty Weekend

October 14 – 16, 2022

The GSPC of Middle Tennessee hosted its annual Specialty Weekend October 14 – 16, 2022 in Lebanon, TN with fall color coming on strong and majors on the table for four straight shows. The party kicked off Friday with a Beginner Puppy Event including entries from 3 different litters. Alessandra Foltz officiated and got to play with the youngsters. Puppy and Veteran Sweepstakes were judged by Jennifer Murphy, leading up to the Specialty classes and Breed competition under Ms Foltz’s expert eye. Trophy Chair Angela Still outdid herself this year sending the winners home with pieces of outstanding breed motif artwork and ribbons anyone would be proud to hang on their wall. Hospitality chair Cindi Chilbert came up with unique burlap and rope-handled hospitality bags for all exhibitors, who traveled in from 12 different states spanning the country from Maine to Florida to California.

The Club supported the entries of the Tri Star Kennel Club all breed shows on Saturday and Sunday ensuring major entry competition for their guests. Then hosted a second concurrent Specialty Show Saturday afternoon with Jason Hoke passing judgement. Profuse thanks to all – judges, owners, and exhibitors – who rolled with all the delays brought on by emergency adjustments to the show schedule.
