German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Middle Tennessee
A community dedicated to field trials, training, and responsible ownership of pointing and versatile hunting dogs.
About the Club
The German Shorthaired Pointer Club of Middle Tennessee was founded in 2002 and became an AKC-recognized club in 2003.
Our mission is to support and promote field trialing, training, and responsible dog ownership while fostering a welcoming community for handlers of pointing and versatile breeds.
What We Do
Our club hosts AKC-sanctioned Field Trials, Conformation Specialties and Supported Entries, Hunt Tests, FastCat (FCAT), CAT, Scentwork, Fetch, Field Days, and other performance gatherings throughout the year for pointing and versatile breeds.
Whether you're new to the sport or an experienced handler, our events provide opportunities to learn, compete, and connect with others who share a passion for sporting dogs.
